Abnormal pap / tamoxifen

I am in the middle of an FET. This time we are trying tamoxifen for 5 days to make me ovulate sooner, then transferring embryos after I naturally ovulate. I just had my annual pap done and they said there was abnormal cells, but HPV came back negative so they weren't concerned and want to see me in a year. The day of my pap was my last day of tamoxifen for this cycle. Could this have affected my pap? My mom was on tamoxifen for years because of breast cancer, and had abnormal paps while on it, although everything was always fine. Anyone have experience with this?
