Father's Role is .....

So, My brother is dating a girl, whom nobody in my family has met or knows. 

Example: today, my father called me and told me that she has completely ruled him and his wife out of their lives. 

My brothers GF called his wife and talked to her about their baby, saying basically that NOBODY can touch or have her baby unless it's her or her mother (not my brother) she said not to tell anyone. And of course she told my father. My father thought about it, and then called my brother. He told my father that she was molested as a child and doesn't want him to touch the baby. He can't even CHANGE THE DIAPERS! He has to turn around or leave the room while it's being done. When she found out that my step mother told my father, she called and they had an arguement. And in the end, they're not going to the wedding and no longer talking. 

Is this crazy, or are we all overreacting?
