c section experience

My first son i had an emergency c section and it was the worst experience of my life, i became unconcious and had to be put to sleep. They over dosed me on the spinal block and it went too far up my body so I couldnt breathe and Im so scared of it happening again. I wasnt able to see my Son till 24 hours after as I was still passed out. Im currently pregnant with my 2nd and have to have a planned c section. What are the differences? I wasnt awake for the first one so i have no clue. can you feel them pull at you? Was you sick during it? Im so scared
