Stop using the Bible as an excuse to be transphobic and homophobic

This is going to be a bit of a rant but I’m totally open for discussion which is why I’m posting here. Kinda sparked from the post about LGBTQ (Saga) becoming church leaders. Thanks ahead of time for reading, it’s gonna be long

Matthew 7:1-5

1 “Do not judge, or you too will be judged. 2 For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you. 3 “Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother’s eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye? 4 How can you say to your brother, ‘Let me take the speck out of your eye,’ when all the time there is a plank in your own eye? 5 You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye.

So often we have discussed rather homosexuality, and transgender people “belong” in the church. (Christian Churches to be exact) and quite frankly I am so sick and tired of people quoting a modern (as of 1946) INTERPRETATION of the Bible, to “back up” such ungodly beliefs. When we as Christians are called to be loving, kind, and to “come as you are”. I question where we lost that? When it specifically says that in the Bible MULTIPLE TIMES! “Come as you are”

Matthew 11:28 - Come unto me, all [ye] that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.

Isaiah 55:1

James 4:8

John 3:16

Revelation 22:17

Isaiah 1:8

Romans 5:8

Matthew 6:14

Psalms 34:18

These verses specifically tell us, our God is an ALL loving ALL accepting god. So again I ask you, where did we lose sight of this? Because some so called MAN a mere mortal has taught us this wicked interpretation of Gods word? Because some mortal edited hundreds of not thousands of God’s teachings to fit his own twisted rhetoric? Doesn’t the Bible specifically say even Satan is with the leaders of the church?

2 Corinthians 11:14

No wonder, for even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light.

With that in mind is it not fair to assume that these leaders we have in the church are leading us astray from the true word of god? Why is it that we hold the interpretation of man higher than the word of God Himself? Why has this changed? When did it change? Are you all that blinded by the facade of “people of the lord” that you’re willing to condemn yourselves to hell judging your homosexual neighbor for having a desire to love the lord? Are u not stopping them from having a relationship with Him? Why are they not deserving of UNCONDITIONAL love?

Also Stop quoting Sodom and Gomorrah and other Old Testament verses to justify your bigotry. (Believe there’s a post here showing scientific evidence that the teachings we learned aren’t entirely true)
