Can you get a tattoo while breastfeeding? I have a small one on my wrist that I’d like to get touched up. I actually wanted to get it done a year ago but I found out I was pregnant the day before my appointment. The place I go to uses non-metallic, vegan ink to avoid allergic reactions (I know for a fact because I’m allergic to most metals) and they’re very sanitary and professional.

No insults please, if there’s a chance it might be harmful I absolutely won’t do it. It’s just a passing thought and I’m just trying to do some research. I’d ask my doctor and her pediatrician before I ever did anything to make sure but they’re closed right now
