Pre Menopause at 40?

Anyone experience this? Maybe the wrong group to post this. But I’m 40, had my baby girl at 39, she is 6 months old. We want another child before it is entirely too late. Well my cycle is 6 days late. Took 4 HPTs, all negative. I found out I was pregnant with my daughter just 1 day late. So, I called my Dr and actually spoke to her nurse, she said that I could be going through pre menopause. However, she ordered a blood pregnancy test anyway. I will go probably Thursday if it hasn’t come by then. I’m not ready for menopause. So glad I have my baby girl in case this is the case. But still sad if I can’t have a sibling for her.
