Stressed about money

So my husband is a teacher and I am an elementary school librarian but my position doesn’t require a degree (even though I have a B.S. in communications) so get paid about 20,000 a year before taxes. We do ok but the last 6 months we have spent beyond our means. We don’t have a ton of credit card debt but enough to stress me out and every other month my husband and I get into a huge argument because of the financial strain. We have until August to have to start paying 350$ a week in daycare compared to the 150$ a week we are paying now for our 3 year old. I have been trying to find a better job with better pay but until I do that, we are struggling every month the make it to the end of the month. I’m not sure what to do and I am trying to find something to make some extra cash to float us through. We have implemented a no spend 6 mon period January 1-July 31 in which we only spend money on bills and food. We hope that this helps us get ahead of the game a little bit. I never grew up worrying about money. My parents made good money and we never wanted for anything. I don’t want to be that person that struggles paycheck to paycheck especially when we don’t have to. It’s stressing me out and I just need d to tell someone.
