For those of you who were engaged longer than two years, what was the reason?

If you have money and relationship issues, did they arrive before or after your engagement?

Too lazy to plan a wedding :D Honestly. We've been engaged since 2015. We've pushed it back a few times already because we were too lazy to plan and then we had it planned for October 2017 but found out July 2017 we are expecting our rainbow baby so we pushed it back again, that way she can actually be there and in the pictures with us. So it should be happening some time after March this year :D

I was 19 and wanted to be able to drink booze at my wedding. Ended up not drinking but it was nice to have those birthdays, holidays and tax returns to help pay for some of it.

We waited about a year for me to graduate from college before thinking about planning. Then we wanted to ensure we has money. Which led us to having to wait because we couldn't find a good venue until it was too late to book for the month we wanted. So it ended up being just shy of 3 years.

We waited for a little over two years because he was in college. And we wanted plenty of time to save for our wedding!

He was getting a four year degree at state university, then he was in another country.
