Flu for one night??

Yesterday I woke up with a horrible cough(it hurt my chest so bad). As the day went on I got a headache too. When I got home at 5, I felt like I had the full blown flu. I was weak, had chills, dizzy, headache, nausea, chest pain, coughing. I felt awful. I took NyQuil and ended up sleeping 12 hours. I woke up this morning still feeling pretty “off” but not as bad as last night at all. Has anyone ever had anything like this?? It was so weird
