I am beating myself up mentally

2018 is beating my ass

I'm broke because I just spent all my money paying bills.

Getting windshield wipers, an oil change and new breaks on my car. Also had to take a pet to the vet.

I woke up late today. Like already an hour late for work. Last night I was up with a migraine I don't know how late, tossing and turning. I guess when I finally got to sleep I SLEPT. 😔

I get in my car, it won't start.

My SOs car is sitting in the driveway (he has a work truck that he drives to work) and I'm looking for his car keys because I have jumper cables and guess what, his keys are with him in his work truck. I called my work and informed them that i woke up late and now my car won't start and that i was working on it. I called them when I woke up and then again when my car wouldn't start)

So I call my cousin to help me jump my car, drove an hour to me and we tried to jump my car. We tried for like 40 minutes and nothing. Not shit.

My cousin offered me a ride to work but my so doesn't get off until 6 hours after me. I would have nobody to pick me up from work and I live 45 minutes away from work.

So I had to call in today. I feel like a total ass, completely worthless employee.

I've been working there for years and this is the first time I've ever just slept in and didn't call until an hour after my shift was supposed to start.

I also tried to cook some pizza because I'm starving and i burnt it.

I just want to sit and cry and I don't think I'll get fired over this (hopefully) but I would fire me because I piss me off.

The rest of the day is figuring out what do to with my car.

If my so would have just left his damn keys I could hop in his car and be on my dandy way to work where I need to be but no. It didn't happen that way. He is an hour and a half away and behind on work so he can't come drop his keys off.

Burnt pizza anyone?
