Period and regulating hormones? ;(

Li

About two years ago my period stopped for like half a year. Within that time frame my acne cleared up and my face looked amazing, and I also lost some facial fat.

Once my period naturally came back after about 6 months, my acne returned like two months later and my facial fat returned. I didn’t gain any weight, but my face just got rounder and chubbier and it made me so self conscious.

Shortly after, my period stopped again for 11 months (I became a vegetarian, moved across the country, and started a new and very active job so I wasn’t surprised..I’ve also always had irregular periods so it wasn’t unusual.)

In that time frame as well, my face cleared up beautifully again and my face got a lot slimmer, although my period was still MIA and I know that isn’t good.

Once I moved back home, my period returned about 6 months later (last October it started again). They’re coming regularly now every month, sometimes a little late but that’s normal for me.

But now again, I’m starting to realize the facial fat coming back and the acne. I’m so ridiculously self conscious because my face just looks so round and chunky and red and bumpy and it’s taking a toll on my confidence.

Is this my hormones? Is there any way to regulate them without doing anything drastic? Does anyone else have this issue?

Thanks:)
