Question

so my husband who is 24 years of age has this work group because he works at a call centre so basically his "team leader" who is female would update "the team"(about 4  males including my husband and 5 females) on good scores and targets etc... RECENTLY my husbands notifications pops up and I see the female co-workers saying "I miss you my Angels" "Miss you my beautiful babies" , or "my sister gave birth guys" or "getting their hair done", "about shaving legs" or "wear a sexy dress tomorrow kimmy" ,or eg. team leader texting "Amy where you I'm waiting on you","Guys what can I do with all this data tonight" or general conversations that can obviously be individual chats all this events happens different days but everyday🙄 You probably thinking why should it bother me? well because i don't really think it's professional! and super annoying when he comes home and has to read all that like what's it to him??  and husband fights tooth and nail to be in this group.Im not over reacting but am I wrong for being a bit frustrated?? honestly at the end of the day it is a work place with work colleagues not a bunch of high school friends attending the same class or school!!

notification - TL asks my husband "babes where you it's lunch time! I'm waiting for you at the café"
another female responds and says "hey wait up I'm coming with jack,double date yaay!" 
not even shy to say it in the work group , so over it, im going to allow it, at the end of the day hubby is an equal right?

Advice? Get over it.lol 
He can turn off notifications if it bugs him. Not every job is super professional. At the end of the day, bills are being paid and he has a job. Be grateful. Dont make a mountain out of a mole hill.

I’m friends with the team I work with. We text each other all the time, at work and after hours...stupid stuff. Memes, jokes, random thoughts etc.
My hubs does the same w his coworkers. You’re with these people all day and build relationships with them.

I agree with you :) maybe you could tell him how you feel and you guys can come up with a compromise type thing like maybe he doesn’t look at the ones (messages) that are non related to work or pays less attention to them :) but he does work with women and that is somewhat part of the deal haha we are good w phones

Maybe he doesn’t really chat in the team group. That could just be all the others talking amongst themselves but he really isn’t a part of it? On the other hand, I am a team lead that oversees 14 different advisors and I would never join in a private group chat with them outside of my team chat which is monitored by my job. Its unprofessional.
