Just looking for others who have been in this situation

Hello! Let me cut to the chase, I am pregnant with my first child and I also have herpes. Is there anyone else out there that has been through this and had things be ok? I got this from making one “bad choice” so please don’t lecture me. My husband doesn’t have it and we make sure to be careful about things. Since getting pregnant we haven’t really been very sexual active as I feel like I’ve had a lot going on down there lol I’m just looking for people who have had good pregnancies/deliveries while dealing with this. I have been feeling great otherwise this pregnancy.

Edit I used to be on the daily meds to keep the outbreaks to a minimum but my dr took me off that once pregnant and I won’t be on it again until the very end
