Doctor appointment

I just found out I’m pregnant. This will be my second. With my first, they had me come in right away and even did an ultra sound but it was too early, so they had me come back the next week.

This time, should I wait? I keep reading that most doctors don’t see patients till 8 weeks? Trying to decide what to do. I want to enjoy this pregnancy and take it slow. This isn’t a big deal, I’m more just curious what others do.
