Losing weight?

Question

Did anyone start losing weight after following a strict diet for their gestational diabetes? I’ve lost 7lbs total. I had lost 4lbs and then went out of state for my baby shower and ate like garbage for 4 days. I got back to eating right last week and have lost 3lbs since eating better again. I’m also on insulin before every meal and before bed. I’ve gained around 25lbs already (31w5d) and I was overweight to begin with. My endocrinologist wasn’t concerned, but my ob is... just wondering if anyone else experienced weight loss like this??
I’m 4’11” and was 184.4 at my appt today.

I didn't lose weight but I was able to gain slowly. I gained a total of 19 pounds with my pregnancy. But my dietitian said that if I follow the diet completely I would probably lose a few pounds in the process. Hope this helps.

I lost 4 lbs at my last appt which was at 34 weeks. I started on my GD diet at 30 weeks.  I’m really glad I didn’t continue gaining at the rate I did in my second trimester or I’d be huge! I think I’ve gained a total of 25 lbs. My doc seemed surprised but not worried at the weight loss. I’m pretty convinced that at least a little of it is that I’m retaining less water because I’m eating better. I’ve felt better since watching what I eat too. I think getting GD has been a blessing in disguise for me. :)

I lost 6 lbs

I've only gained 14 lbs because of the diet. I'm also very active still and want to get back to running after I have this baby.
