Understanding Gestational Diabetes
I just wanted to share a book, Real Food for Gestational Diabetes by Lily Nichols, that I found after I was told I had GD. It has helped me better understand how to manage my GD with just eating and exercise! When initially meeting with a dietitian I was told to shoot for about 165g of carbs a day, but after reading this book and some trial and error I found my numbers better respond to keeping my carbs to under 120g a day. Just wanted to share with the others because I know I struggled and was frustrated with my numbers!
