Castor oil for hair?

Hello everyone! I've been trying castor oil it for my brows and eye lashes and so far my eyebrows are growing fast. I naturally have thick brows but someone over plucked them so I want them back thick so that's why I'm letting them grow back. I have long hair but I'm wondering if anyone has tried it for their hair? And what were your results? I usually do coconut oil and leave it over night every now and then and I have very healthy hair but I always like the idea of trying new things especially when it comes to natural things.
