Feeling stressed.
So, my husband and I have been ttc for about two years. About a month ago I was told by an endocrinologist that she suspects that I have Pcos. I went last Thursday to my gynecologist and she said just by looking at me she is 99% sure I have PCOS. She ran a bunch of blood tests and started me on 1000 mg of Metformin per day since it seems like I am not ovulating. My cycle length is only about 18 days or so. I am just feeling so uneasy. My goal is to get pregnant before my husbands 30th in July. Has anyone had any success stories with Metformin? So far I’ve been on it for 5 days and I haven’t had any bad symptoms so far. But, if we try this and clomid and it doesn’t work there’s just no way we can afford ivf. We make decent money, but no where near the cost of fertility treatments like ivf.
