PSA about Chick fil a
All you pregnant mamas need to avoid the lemonade. It’s not pasteurized...and I kid you not I just drank the most foul tasting lemonade ever from there and just found out it’s not pasteurized because of this. Pray for me, I think I’m going to be so sick 😭
Edit: HAHAHA you guys, I feel so dumb for never realizing it before. It’s different though, drinking freshly squeezed lemonade from a chick fil a vs your own. With your own, you have control of the environment. There are too many unknowns in that environment. Employees don’t always follow food safety protocols, (not wash their hands, cough in the lemonade, slice lemons with a dirty knife...idk) and on occasion they’ll toss in a rotten lemon...& you can get a foul ass tasting lemonade, like I did today. 🤷🏻♀️
Edit 2: Wow, I’ve already admitted that I’m pretty dumb for not realizing it sooner but the condescending comments are still coming 😂 Listen, some pregnant mamas are immunocompromised, even more so while pregnant, and prefer to stay away from chances of being super ill while pregnant. I was just posting this here because I also drank this lemonade like nothing while pregnant and thought nothing of it. If I had drank this while pregnant I would have been mortified and worried because it literally tasted rotten...after I had already drank half. Like the bad taste settled at the bottom. I immediately felt nauseous and sick to my stomach, and am now playing the waiting game to see how sick I’m going to be. So be condescending all you want, but this is a legitimate worry for some, and I’m trying to save some of you from a bad time. & Listeria can survive and grow under refrigerated conditions, can take weeks to manifest itself, and yes, even lemons are susceptible. 😐
