How do you know your done having babies?

Mamas who are done having babies. Does the yearning for another new born ever go away or do you have baby fever for life? Lol.

Serious question!! Facing the possibility of surgery that will definitely decide if I get to have more children or not and debating on waiting to try again (which pregnancy is very risky and hard for my body)

I have the desire to have another child but my husband doesn’t think my body can handle it and my doctors are on the fence as well. But they were the same way with my daughter and I birthed her with minimal complications. So my question is does that urge ever go away? Is it normal for me to feel this way or do you think its fate to have another?
