Is it ever okay in a relationship to curse at each other during arguments?

We curse in general, calling someone names & cursing in an argument are totally different. One is understandable one is not ok

I think cursing is allowed as long as you are not using it as a direct insult against your partner. That includes name calling and any type of put downs.

Nope. No matter how angry my boyfriend and I have gotten at each other, we have never cursed. It doesn’t solve anything and there’s no need for it.

It depends on how it's used. "This is f*cking ridiculous", and "you're such a f*cking idiot" are two different uses of a curse word, one used to inflict pain and the other to describe how the person feels about what's going on. When people get angry, it's normal to feel the need to curse, but when the curse is used to actively call someone out it's harmful.

Its not okay, but it happen. Sometimes the heat of the moment spews out from our soul. lol

Me and my boyfriend cuss all the time. We argue because we get mad so obviously we both know we are heated. We do draw the line though at calling each other names.
