Help a girl out

Ok so I've hooked up with this freshman in high school twice (I'm a senior). He's a huge trouble maker in a sense where he just does stupid things and makes stupid mistakes that gets him suspended. He today got suspended for 5 days for a stupid mistake that I yelled at him for.

So is it wrong that I feel the need to fix him and try and impact his life for him to get on the right path?

I don't want to catch feelings but I think I always feel the need to fix people.

And is the age gap too much if I'm a high school senior and he's only a freshman? 15 to 18?
