I know that we have a gun problem, and that needs to be stricter. And I know there’s a huge possibility that if the shooter wasn’t white, they wouldn’t hesitate to call them a terrorist. And not an “orphan 19 year old with a rough past.” I’m in no way trying to justify what this kid did because what he did is absolutely insane. But this kid had issues many people were aware about. It’s not just a gun problem I think we have to take mental illness more serious.

I don’t believe we need to ban guns completely. Considering I’m going into law enforcement, I plan buying a gun as soon as I can, and when my children are old enough i want to educate them on guns as well.

However I don’t think it should be THIS easy for just anybody to have one.

What do you guys think? Should school staff carry weapons now? Should there be more SRO’s in schools?
