Ladies How Do You Put Your Babies To Sleep? 1 year Old And Tired Momma😫

Sooo I just came from my baby's Dr and I ask him " why does my baby keep waking up several times at night"? and he said " Are you leaving him the bottle to sleep him" and I said "yes". He said that is why. Because my baby is now accustomed to the bottle and when he wakes up at 3am he expects the bottle....So his Dr suggest for me before bedtime, 1st give him a bottle then bathe him and he should fall asleep so at night when he DOES when up at 3am he will just wake up but should fall right back to sleep?
I'm over here freaking out because I feel like this strategy won't work. I mean since hes been born that was the only way I able able to make him sleep.....BUT I also do want him sleep the whole night too.😩😩😩
What strategy does you ladies do for your LO to fall straight to sleep?

My baby is only 5 weeks old but I followed the same routine we used for my niece who is now three. Bed time is at 8:30. At 7:45 we give him 1 oz of his 4 oz he usually takes. Then straight to the warm bath. He gets lotion after that and a little baby massage. Then we go into his dark room and rock him while he finishes his 3 oz he had left. He burps and falls asleep. It worked so well for my niece ever since she was a baby and it stuck with her. We tried it with our baby and he sleeps until 12/1 am. My niece now sleeps through the night. But same routine.

We do quiet time with no tv or anything and dim lights. Then a warm bath, lavender lotion massage, warm bottle and he’s out like a light.

My husband feeds our son before bed every night. He turns on the sound machine, dims the lights, wraps him in his swaddle (zipadee zip), and rocks in the glider chair until he’s out. For a while it was annoying when he’d wake up and the only thing that would get him to sleep was the bottle again, but now he just needs a pacifier and a gentle rocking to get back to sleep. I’d suggest changing your routine so you feed your baby first, then do something else like a quiet bath or change his diaper and get him into a swaddle, then rock him with a pacifier until he nods off. That way he has a different sleep association other than the bottle.

We slowly decreased the amount in the bottle until we finally just didn't give it. He stopped waking up for it then :)

I substituted the milk for water and he eventually stopped waking up he is now 20 months and sleeps all night! Now to worry about potty training 😱
