Pregnant with rainbow baby and facing surgery on Wednesday!

Di

Hello all, I'll be 16 weeks 2 days this Wednesday and will be getting an 11cm cyst/mass removed from my right ovary. They plan to remove my right ovary and tube, as well. As of now, they expect the cyst to be dermoid one, but due to the size, it was best to get it removed to avoid the possibility of preterm labor. I will be getting anesthesia and a breathing tube will be placed inside. I will also stay overnight so the high-risk doctors can monitor both me and our baby. Aside from oral surgeries, this is my first real surgery. I'm hopeful that all will be okay because my God is greater; however, I'm still a bit scared. (Don't even get me started on how worried my husband is!) Have you gone through a surgery during pregnancy? Please share your stories and/or encouraging words! I'm praying that all will go well with my surgery and recovery and that our little rainbow baby continues to fight like he or she already has! We suffered a miscarriage last March so we truly are holding out hope that this little life stays with us and will be delivered with no complications on August 6, 2018! I covet your prayers right now! Thanks for reading. 💓🙄
