soooooo beyond confused.. (with update)

Keely

So.. Long story short, I have pcos and have been ttc with my hubby for 6 years now & it's been so hard.. We have had x2 miscarriages during this time and I was put on metformin about 3 months ago to help the pcos, I was put on 1500mgs. Well, my Dr left the GP surgery I'm at and I got assigned with a new Dr, he decided to stop my metformin without telling me about 4 weeks ago. I've had to wait for a gp appointment which I have on Thursday for a med review. Now, the confusing part.. AF visited on the 17th of last month, I have had regular cycles since starting the metformin and my cd's are every 27 days, I'm now 5 days late. Done so many tests and all BFN! As per. I even phoned out of hours Dr's today and had to go and see them and had a BFN again. I have a call with a different Dr on Monday to see what she can do to help me with the fact that AF is so late. I personally think its because they have stopped my metformin.. What do you all think? Sorry for the essay 💭**********************************************************************************Update: spoke to gp yesterday who said she doesn't want me to go back on metformin as I'm having bariatric surgery and you're not supposed to take metformin when you're having it. So she said I will just have to wait and see what happens. No answers! I know I have pcos and one of the problems with it is that you get irregular periods but come on.. I've always been quite regular. I done a hpt yesterday and bfn again.
