Have to go to court **off topic***

**long post ahead but I really need help****

idk what group to post this in but I have a court appearance in April over a car accident I was involved in. I live in Illinois and the roads were really bad and I couldn’t stop my car in time. I hit another car but the damage was only a dent on the side of their car. I do not have insurance on my car. (I know it’s a bad idea but my mom couldn’t afford it at the time) I have 3 citations, 1 for driving an uninsured vehicle, 1 for driving “too fast” for conditions( I totally disagree with this one because I was not driving too fast, I just couldn’t stop my car in time due to the horrible weather 🙄) & 1 for vehicle damage. Can anyone tell me what will happen at my court appearance ? I’m so scared and nervous. I’m only 18 and I’ve never been to court. Another thing to note, my mom came to the accident and we waited for the police but after a couple of minutes of waiting she told me to drive home. She said she was going to go down to the police station to report the accident herself but I just found out that she NEVER did. I would have done it myself but I had no idea what to do since this was my first accident so now I’m in trouble for this also. I totally wish I could go back I would have done things differently. Anyways can anyone tell me what will happen when I go to court? TIA.
