How often do you see your SO and how long have you been together?

We’ve been together for 9 months 
We started dating in June of last year we would see each other 3 or 4 times a week so we would see each other very often , but he went to jail in August and he’s out in 2 weeks I’ve only seen him twice since he’s been in :/

Bf and I have been together almost two years.
We met in college so we toggled between long distance and living in the same town, but we haven't lived together yet.
The first summer (after dating about four months) we saw each other approximately one weekend a month. The second summer he'd spend his weeks off of work at my place (so he'd spend two weeks a month at my pace).
During school and now we see each other at least once a day, unless he works late.

For the first two years of mine and my significant others relationship we lived in the same city it was a rare occasion if we didn't see each other everyday. Now that I moved to a different city to finish college and he also moved to a different city for work I see him once a month for about three or four days at a time. There has been a lot of learning curves for both us but we're working though them and believe it or not our communication has gotten better.
