Ear infection???

My daughter is just about 3 months old and the past few days she’s been grabbing her one ear and crabby( I was thinking it’s was from her shots but that’s been 5 days since she got them..).. is this a sign of an ear infection or just her finding her ear

Well she’s kinda young for teething..... 
But ear grabbing is a common teething sign too.
Did you check her gums to see if there are any lighter areas where teeth may be coming up?

If you’re concerned definitely make an appointment, but it could be just finding the ear or something less serious. At 2 months old I thought my baby had a ear infection too. I took her to her pediatrician only to find out her hair was rubbing her ears and was causing the ear grabbing. I put a headband on and pulled the hair back. Problem solved. 😂 I felt pretty stupid. Lol. She came out with a head full of hair. And it was all around her ears.

It sounds like an ear infection to me. My daughter did the exact same things. Safest bet is to call your pets and worse case scenario they tell you it’s nothing 🤷🏼‍♀️

Make an appointment. Honestly, my daughter behaved the same way. she's always tugged at her ears for comfort so the only symptom I can actually rely on for an ear infection is high fevers. but an appointment never hurts.

Is it worse when she’s laying down and has she had a fever? My son shows almost no signs when he has an ear infection and it’s hard to decide when we should take him in to the doctor but it’s always better to be safe and have it checked out

I would say its just her finding her ear.  My daughter went through that, she still plays/rubs it when she is really sleepy. My pediatrician said most babies don't touch their ears when they have an ear infection because they hurt.
