My birth story!

Jenna

I had my baby a week ago. been so exhausted and busy I finally have the chance to write it. it started Wednesday morning at my 36 week appointment at 10:30. I went in and the doctor told me I was 8 cm dilated and sent me to L&D; and she was going to break my water at lunch. I went into the the hospital and started pitocin at noon. I was having contractions every 2 mins 1 min long. but they weren't hurting so they kept going the dose and I was still at an 8.5. at 2 pm my doctor came in and broke my water. the baby was still high up and was turned the wrong way. he was facing directly up. they put me on the peanut ball for a few hours. at 7 pm I was at a 9.5. by 9pm I was having contractions so bad and ready to push but I couldn't because he was facing sideways. at 10pm I got the epidural to relax and reduce stress so baby would turn around. I slept til 11:30 til doctor came in and told me to push. I pushed for 40 mins and my handsome son was born at 12:09 am on March 1st. Almost all natural! He was 6lbs 12oz with a head full of hair! looks just like his daddy❤

one week later..

Sorry it was so long!
