Trisomy 18 ☹️

So today I had my anatomy scan. I am 20+2. Found out I am having a baby girl 💓 on the ultrasounds , the doctor found 2 cysts in the brain. Commonly found in Trisomy 18, as known as Edwards Syndrome. Most babies don’t make it more than a month or even less than a year. I’ve been researching about Trisomy 18 to get more info on this. The doctor said that the baby’s growth, hands, feet, and facial features all look great, she looks okay characteristically, but there could be that chance. I took a blood test to see if my princess has Trisomy 18. I am absolutely terrified. I find out the results it 7-10 business days, and I really don’t know what I’m going to do. I’m happy I found out I am getting the princess I’ve always wanted, but I’m depressed to know that there is that chance ...

Have any of you guys had a baby with Trisomy 18? If so can you tell me what it’s like.
