Would you quit your job if your manager called you a ‘golliwog’?

I made a post related to this earlier. It’s true my manager said I looked like a golliwog... I’ve wanted to quit before this happened but this is the last straw for me. I’m in the process of applying for other jobs. Just want a fresh start and a less stressful job!

Does your boss have a higher boss like an area manager or does your company have an HR department so you can report your boss for making racist comments? 
Even if you do leave you should report your boss first if it’s possible or they will get away with it and think its ok to say things like that in the future

If it’s a reason your looking for to quit then yes. Just about any reason would do. If it is from offence then he’s but I’d make a complaint first. 
Sounds like you got your head set at quitting and you just need that extra push. 
Good luck with whatever you choose but I personally think that term is very offensive

if you read the comments her boss said her hair was like the doll ... that she liked!!! it was a compliment and the poster said she new the lady was trying to give a compliment... she's looking for a fight because she's triggered someone doesn't know there's a negative past with a doll... not many people do know to be fair. it's a compliment.... speak up and say it hurts your feelings, or it's really not the other's fault.

I wouldn’t quit, but I’d report my boss to his/her superiors. Actually, I didn’t know what the term meant. I’d ask if he/she does first. If not, I’d explain why it’s revolting.
