Hi ladies, so we had our anatomy scan yesterday - good news IT'S A BOY!!! Yay, so excited. But, the scary news is my baby's fluid in the kidneys were enlarged. His right kidney measuring at 4.3mm and the left was right at 4mm, I'm 21 weeks if that makes a difference. The doctor did tell me it can be a soft marker for Down's syndrome and that they want me to do a genetic blood test called counsyl and come back in another 10 weeks to check on baby's kidneys then. Has anyone experienced this? Did they tell you the same thing? I just need words of advice/experiences.
