Anyone moved for like long distance relationships?

Currently making a big decision I know reassurance or advice.. help!

Met my now husband I’m fl (I was from nj) dated long distance for a while and would fly down to see him (flying to fl was better then him to no). Half year later he asked me to move down- I did it the right way I applied for jobs and would not move until I had job stability. I received and offer, accepted and we are now happily married and trying for first child. Some people it works out for but I would have a game plan for yourself and play “worst case scenario” just so you protect yourself.

I had a 2 year international relationship with an Italian boy. We would go back and forth spending 3 months at a time in each other’s country and 5-6 months away from each other. The time away from each other was more intimate than any relationship I’ve ever had bc of communication. We learned more about each other. It honestly just ended 3months ago and I’m still heart broken from it. It was hard and I am by no means rich. 
But in a long distance relationship  can really be something special if you guys are both willing to commit to each other. A wandering eye was the least of my worries bc that wasn’t our issue. If you don’t think you can trust him than don’t do it. You should trust your long distance partner completely.
Definitely follow your heart. Don’t let live slip away bc it’s not ‘convenient.’ Good things don’t come easy.

My husband and I met and dated in high school. Then I moved away for college, and he moved to support his brother. We were apart for 7 months and I flew to see him once in the middle of it. He couldn't stand being apart anymore and worked two jobs to buy a ring, and flew down to come propose to me. I switched schools and moved with him. We've been married 10 yrs now. If you KNOW it's right, then it will work out.

I did! My husband and I fell in love in July 2013. We were living 900 miles apart. I visited him in mid-July and we became a couple. I then visited him again in October 2013 and we eloped. And then I moved in with him December 2013 😂 we've now been married 4.5 years and have a beautiful 10 month old daughter. 100% worth it.

Moved from Washington state to Virginia to be with my boyfriend of 2 yrs. we drove to Texas to be with his family for thanksgiving and I found out he cheated on me and was still actively talking to the chick. Then I drove to PA to get help and drive back to Va to move tha fuck out. So yeah, greatly regret! Lol

My hubby joined the Army 3 months after we started dating. We dated long distance for a couple years until I graduated college, then we got married and I moved across the country to join him at his current duty station. Don’t regret it at all, but I did struggle a lot at first with missing my old friends and family of origin.

I met my husband right after I graduated high school in 2011. We had already lived 40 minutes away from each other and I was due to leave for college after the summer ended - which would put us at 2 hours away from each other. Long story short, my husband (boyfriend at the time) would drive the 4 hour round trip twice a week in between when I had classes so that I could spend part of the week at his house. I ended up deciding to transfer to a college closer to his house, leaving after only one semester, so that I could move in with him. We have been together for a little over six and a half years now, living together ever since, married for a little over a year and a half, and expecting our first child in May. Definitely do what’s right for you and where you are in life, but I can’t imagine not having made those decisions to be closer to my partner - was definitely the right choice for us! Good luck!

We have been talking a year dating 6 months I got a job offer closer to him. Always wanted to be on the mainland regardless of him but he really wants me to pick up and join him:( I’m not sure at all.
