Wedding Advice?!

Question

Does anyone have any wedding advice on what you wish you saved money on and other things that you wish you could have spent more money on?? 
Im getting married on June 20, 2020 so I have some time but I am always planning ahead for everything 🙂

Save money on the flowers. Use fake or just get some nice ones from the grocery store.
Spend as much money as you reasonably can on the photographer. That’s what will last. Not flowers, not a cake, not drinks, not a venue. Hell, not even the dress. The photographs are your memories. And really vet the photographer to get someone who is good and will go by your wants. (Hard lesson learned there.)

wish I had gotten a real photographer even though I love the photos my husband's aunt did. 
I'm happy we went with s laptop, Spotify and my friends giant speakers instead of a DJ.

Wish we would have spent more to get a photographer and videographer. Though I cherish the photos we do have, I wish we would have hired a professional. 
Shouldn’t have spent so much on the cakes (1 cake or 2 smaller cakes would have been plenty) and food for reception. And I didn’t need as many maids as I had.

Glad we spent good money on a photographer and got a good deal on the catering!
Feel like we could have skipped spending so much on the photo booth stuff since most guests didn’t use it (surprisingly) and that we had done more DIY for the centerpieces instead of renting the centerpieces from the hall that we didn’t even like that much.

Wish we would’ve had a videographer, we decided to go without and now I regret it. Spent extra money so we could have another two hrs at the venue and that was unnecessary. Wish we would’ve looked more for venues. Food and place was great but they charged up the butt for  food and drink. $500 for cheese and crackers when I could’ve set up a platter from Costco for like $50. Just wish we would’ve found one where you could bring your own stuff we would’ve saved thousands. Other than that I was pretty happy with everything I diyed as much as I could. Got married outside and ended up being s super hot day so I’m glad I had water bottles and I made the programs into fans and did my own flowers. Oh also wish I would’ve had less guests there were a ton of people who I appreciated coming but they weren’t really necessary. Whatever works for you though just do your research and congratulations 🎉🍾
