how did you ask your bridesmaids?

I recently got engaged and I want to ask my bridesmaids in a neat way but it needs to be very affordable. I'm curious, how did you married or engaged ladies ask your bridesmaids? or do you have any ideas for me?

I got them all a cute box with the movie bridesmaids, a thing of popcorn a little airplane bottle of wine and it said he “popped” the question now it’s my turn, will you be my bridesmaid?!

I did a collage of pictures and that person at the bottom asked if they would be my maid of honor/bridesmaid. It was super easy and not expensive.

I got them each a pair of nice earrings from MK  and I printed out a card saying “even though I might turn to a bride monster would you still be my bride maid?” I told the girls I want them to wear the earrings for the wedding as well. My sister was the Maid of honor, so I got her different pair of earrings same color though. My girls love that gift, I wanted something different instead of the ring pops, or whatever else everyone else was doing. I got married September 23,2017 😍

I bought these cheap little boxes at Michael’s (Walmart has them too) and made my own little box full of hints regarding dress color (free samples at any store caring paint) and hot glued felt around the inside to make it look a little better. This box was shipped to my sister in Hawaii, so her balloon couldn’t be blown up prior, so I put a little note with a safety pin attached telling her to blow up the confetti balloon, which has a rolled up piece of paper inside asking her to be my bridesmaid. The in person asks were better in my opinion because it was just fun to watch them pop the already filled balloon! The stickers were cheap at Walmart too! In the scrapbooking section. All super easy and super cheap, but still fun and personal for each person. I also attached a special note giving each person reasons why they are an important part of my life and why I would have loved for them to be a part of my special day!

I had a "man of honor" and it was the day of and I. Told him you're the man of honor put this on and handed him a boutinier made from the flowers in my bouquet lol

Is it bad that I don't remember how I asked mine? 😂 (married almost 9 yrs) But I've been in 3 weddings recently & all 3 brides asked me by making a cute card. One had pics of me & the bride, another wrote a little poem, & the other delivered it with a bottle of wine.
