Blood test

This may sound like a silly question but I feel the need to ask anyway. Please don't be rude in your responses. I'm currently pregnant and the nurse took blood from my arm but when she did it on my left arm she couldn't get anything and my arm just oozed with blood like I had just been stabbed. Once that was cleared up, she tried my other arm and I felt her push the needle HARD into my right arm on an upward angle, missing my vein and going straight into something higher (that felt like muscle). After, wriggling around in my arm (PAIN!!!) she finally got some blood out but I KNOW it wasn't from the vein. Will the results still be valid or not? I wouldn't want to go back to her to be butchered again.
