My BIGGIEST pet peeve is when parents use the excuse "Shes so sassy!" as an excuse for their child bad behaviour! I'm a teacher and if I'm trying to keep parents informed or ask for their input on how their child is behaving in lessons (as 99% of parents all want to know how their child is behaving) and they give me the excuse "they're just so sassy!" makes me want to headbutt a brick wall! Because the child continues with the behaviour and thinks disrespect to others (adults and children alike) they just get worse and worse! They act like it's cute their child has an attitude! Kids can have a cute, sassy personality but when it starts negativity affecting their child's social skills and education... ITS A PROBLEM!!!
