what's his intention?

hello people, i don't know if anyone's gonna read this but i'm confused and i need help

i have this friend from my language course whom i'm not really close with, just chat between lessons and that's all. i have no special feelings for him but he's super kind and i've always felt like he's a really nice person. last week after class, him, another friend from couwent out for a drink. i talked about my recent breakup with my ex and whatsoever. later i got drunk and my stomach wasn't very well so we went to another place to get me coffee.

after i got drunk, that friend of mine was extra nice to me. he was holding me by my waist, holding my hand until we sit somewhere. when we sit he was still holding me and said nice things to make me feel comfortable (i think??), he was flirty, kissing my head many times, my hands, telling me how soft my hands are and stuff like that. then he asked me to kiss his cheek. my head was on his shoulder and after i kissed his cheek, he leaned over my lips and kissed me. i was drunk, and already baffled by his attitude towards me so i felt like it, kissed him back. we kissed a couple times, deep kisses. i said i feel better and had to go home it's too late, he invited me over to his house. i said i can't, he really insisted that i come over but i didn't go. then we went out and took a cab. he asked me what time i will wake up tomorrow and asked if i will send him a good morning text??? i playfully said maybe.

next morning i texted and we both acted like nothing happened last night. he told me about his family and his relationship with his mom. AND THEN he said "my family is coming over after the mid-terms, they'll stay a while, maybe you'd meet them???????? (WTH EASY BOY) it wasn't really a question, after that he changed the subject and a while later conversation ended. i wasn't really comfortable with last night so i sent him a text saying "i don't usually go this fast, i hope you didn't misunderstand me. i'm a little confused because we suddenly kissed last night and we were just friends who don't know each other well. you know that i've recently ended a long relationship, i'm not emotionally in a good state so this is a complicated stuation for me", he replied with "i understand you really well. you're going through a hard time. feel bad. whenever you wanna talk, i'm here." i didn't say anything back and he didn't text me again it's been two days.

SO what do you think? do you think he was already attracted to me before or he just went with the flow and wanted to spend a night with me, just because of that he said all those nice things? for his intentions? he really seemed like a sweet, going slow and steady person so i'm a little confused, i want to think that he acted like that because he was aware of me already. maybe i'm too naive? i guess i'm a little attracted to him.

oh i'm 22 by the way and he's 24.
