Mother in law

So I’ve always been the type of person who wanted to be close with mother in law and have a great relationship with. I meet my amazing husband and I think his mother hates me. When we first started dating when family and friends would say nice things about me to her she wouldn’t say anything like thank you or that she agrees. I tired to continued to show her my respect and also tried to get along with my sister in law who I thought liked me. One time I gifted my mother in law a present which she said that she hated and for me to take it away. When we got married she told my husband she didn’t like our ring bands.As time went on I tried to ignore how distant they kept themselves. My sister in law started ignore my existence and would say hello to everyone but me. So I decided to ignore her and now she’s chasing after me. When I changed my last name to his my mother in law asked my husband why I would do such a thing. We finally decided to start trying and she didn’t know why we wanted to have a baby soon in our marriage. She also didn’t call me the first 7 months of my pregnancy to see how anything was. After our DD was born she only cared to see our baby. My husband thinks that I’m too sensitive around the way she treats me but everyone we know can’t believe how she is with me. It’s come to a point where I’ve decided and haven’t talked to her in months. What do you think ?
