Abuse accusations

I’ve been a step mom for 3 years and a bio mom of my own son for 2. My step daughter 3, has started telling her mom and Grandma and everybody else that I’m “hitting” her. OBVIOUSLY, I’m not. And my DH and BM both say they don’t believe at all that I’m doing anything. But I’m pretty sure my in laws believe her cuz they’ve been making it extremely clear they think she needs to be with The BM and not me during my DHs time. I am terrified that if my SD tells the wrong person that I’m “hitting” her, this could result in me losing my son or getting cps called on something that IM NOT DOING. I think I need to not watch my SD for a while unless her older sister (14) or an adult is around so they can bear witness to me NOT abusing her when I’m around her. My DH isn’t too happy about that, but I honestly am just not willing to jeprodize my son for a lying 3 year old who may be being fed lies. What does anyone think about this??

I’m gonna say this again, so people don’t attack me. I AM NOT abusing my children. I don’t even believe in spanking.
