Husband mental illness *possible trigger

My husband has Schizoaffective disorder. It’s a name they use for Schizophrenia but with bipolar tendencies. I love him with all my heart but I just get so tired sometimes. I’ve been thru multiple different medications with him. Some lowered his sex drive, some made him unable to get an erection, some made him not eat and some eat too much. We found one that works pretty well. It’s called Lurasidone. The problem is, if I don’t give it to him, he won’t take it. If he drinks alcohol, it has an adverse reaction. Tonight for example, today was my birthday. I decided to drink and fell asleep extremely early and napped for maybe two hours. When I wake up, he is completely psychotic. I gave him his medicine and he fell asleep. But fuuuuuck. When he’s psychotic, he doesn’t realize it. He punched my dog, told me he was going to choke one of my cats. When he’s like that he asks if I want him to kill me. I tried to get him to eat. But I also didn’t want to try to hard to wake him up. He knows he has a problem and that his psychosis stresses us both out. Tomorrow when I tell him about the incident, I know he won’t believe me. I’m just so frustrated. Ugh.
