help!!

hey girlies, i have a pretty serious predicament. so basically i’ve been on my period or i guess bleeding for months now. Literally since january 7th. it hasn’t stopped at all!! it’s been awful, and i’ve always had irregular periods but this has just been insane! i missed two weeks of high school because the pain was so bad and the bleeding was awful. it’s caused me to become anemic and the bleeding still hasn’t stopped! even when going on birth control, nothing has helped. i’ve been on two kinds and my doctor is just stumped. i’ve started progesterone i think is what it’s called to help regulate it i think, but i don’t know if it’ll help. i’ve never experienced menstrual cramps before in my life either so this has just been a great experience haha. i have an ultrasound tomorrow to see if anything is going on. if anyone has any advice or any insight on this please let me know because i am so lost! it’s just so weird, i’m 18 and not sexually active so me and my doctor are stumped.
