Post pill period

I am hoping to see if anyone else has had this experience.. I have been on the pill for over 10 years. I stopped taking the pill at the end of January/early February and my first period was February 6. I have not had a cycle since then. I have an OBGYN appointment on Thursday and just trying to see what to expect for the appointment. Any lab tests? Also, can they do anything to trigger a period? My husband and I are trying to convince so the lack of period is concerning.
