Live streaming

I’ve thought about this a lot before, but I never thought I’d actually go through it. Do you think it’s beneficial for news outlets to fly helicopters into accident sites and do a live broadcast? I know there are other instances when it can be beneficial. But I mean filming an accident on a back road that doesn’t get much travel. I can’t come up with a good reason. Nobody is watching these live streams to avoid a possible delay in traffic. They’re taking up airspace for helicopters coming in to do air lifts. They’re kicking up debris while rescue workers are trying to get victims into ambulances or helicopters, or just out of the wreckage in general. What are your thoughts?
