Metformin & Blue Dye HPT

So, how reliable are blue dye tests if you follow the instructions, sort of (dipped 34 seconds instead of 20) and read results exactly 2 minutes after?

Please tell me someone else sees it- I took the cheap-y 99 cent hpt yesterday and got the most faintest line ever (like not visible at all thru camera & barely to the naked eye) so instead I got these today.

I have a doctors appointment Friday for my thyroid results from last Monday and the doctor mentioned something about my hormone levels being average. I’m only taking prescribed metformin, OTC vitamin D supplement & OTC prenatal vitamins. I’ve been off my thyroid medicine for almost 2 months but I don’t think that could cause the HCG hormone to be active right?

I’m so scared to get excited 😥😞 & have it be another let down 💔
