Dates are set!

In May 21st we will be welcoming our baby boy via CSection. I am so excited to meet him and I am certain he is going to have an amazing personality. He already does on the inside!

Thankfully, my Thoracic Surgeon has decided that I need time to bond with him and told me today he will schedule my Lung\Chest surgery for the 24th. While that means Theodore will go home before me, it also means I get to be with him the first few days.

I wish these next few weeks would just fly by! I’m just ready for hellish pregnancy to be over!

Side note: today one of the OBs in Maternal Fetal told me, “In this office, you are officially in the top three most high risk pregnancies we have ever had. And your the most high risk we’ve had in a long time.”

Not going to lie, it made me chuckle. I mean, I knew I was giving them a run for their money, but geez. Then again I am only the 4 documented case of all this. But still, we are talking Penn State Medicine here! It’s just crazy to know/think that is all.
