Anyone ever seen this??

My son is 4 months and I noticed he’s bawd in certain spots and has white flaky stuff in his hair. Can someone tell me why this is?? I’m a first time Mama and I’m bit sure what to do?? I was him every night and I don’t think it’s dry skin..Someone told me it might be cradle cap? But I’m really not sure.. Any suggestions?

All 3 of my kids have had it. The pediatrician always told us to dampen hair and put coconut oil on it let it sit in the baby’s hair while in the bath and use the soft baby brush in circular motions to loosen it. It may take more than 1 time but it worked for all of my rugrats.

It looks like cradle cap. It’s nbd. Everyone handles it differently and has different remedies. My baby never had it but I’d just google it and you’ll find lots of ways to get rid of it. 😊

My little guy has the same problem. I put some Aquaphor on it for a day, then gentle but firm massage with a silicon brush the next day to run off the dead skin (photo below). Cap it off with a bath so he doesn’t stay greasy. Cleared it up really fast!
