When do you start potty training your child?

My son is 1 year and 9 months and every time when hes done eating, he goes to his favorite spot by the couch and does his "business"...Should I start training him? if so, how and what do i need?

It’s a mental thing. You can introduce the kid potty and try and see if he responds but don’t pressure yourself if he isn’t. The reality is that you cannot really pressure him to do it before he’s ready. More so, we pressure ourselves.

I started at 13 mos ended at 15.

If your child can pull his pants up and down (getting dressed), or indicates that he needs to go, letting you know if he’s wet or dry - that’s usually a sign he’s ready! I would start trying with him if he goes right after every time! I think it just depends on each child :)
