Nutrition while breastfeeding
Dear mommies who are exclusively breastfeeding, are you following the rule of adding additional 300-500 calories a day?
I have been eating extremely healthy since my little girl was born (healthier than ever) which means Ive cut out bad cards and bad fats. I don’t track my calories but I can see that the portions I eat are getting smaller and I don’t snack because I start to become full easily (maybe it’s because salad takes longer to digest, i don’t know). I know for a fact I am not consuming too many calories but I also don’t want to add extra because I am overweight and would be happy if weight loss would occur gradually. My milk supply has not been effected yet but I just want to hear from anyone expertise if I should force my self to have those extra snacks or what not.
P.S I started light exercises but nothing crazy and drink plenty of fluids.
Thanks!
